View Full Version : hdri ?? im poor HELP!!

ive noticed that any good render that is arround always has hdri in it. i can model ok.. but the model ive noticed is only half the job. all models need decent lighting and i know that what i need is hdri. I dont have 1000 dollars to pay for an external program for 3ds max. so what can i do? any tips, tutorials and links are greatly apreciated, thanks!

There is also a little plugin to use with Max.

thanks for your help, but i think i have a different version of max or somthing because i couldnt import hdr files :(

you need to install this plugin into your plugins directory:

scroll down for the hdri I/O bitmap plug
