I am trying to follow a tutorial on Learning Maya/Rendering Book but got stuck on the Anisotropic brushed metal example.
It says you should use the colorDirectionPaint.mel as a runtime script for the brush. The thing is I get this error message when I do that:
// Error: Wrong number of arguments on call to colorDirectionPaint. //
// Error: ...colorDirectionPaint(20,0, 0.976495,-0.215539,0.000000, 0.000000,0.000000,1.000000, -0.215539,-0.976495,0.000000, 979,0,10, 5,1, //
I am guessing here that it is a 4.5 to 5.0 issue since the book was written with the former in mind. Does anybody knows how to run it in 5.0 and/or know this script?
(Yeah, I know I can get similar results with Photoshop;) , that is not the issue here...)
Thanx in advance
