can anybody say why my version of modo isn't working????? here's a youtube video of what it looks like when I try to use it.

It's ghosting every click I make, it's not showing the view plane, or anything in the modeling view port, even geometry. any help is appreciated. thanks!

It's obviously related to your graphicscard and/or driver. What hardware have you got in your machine ? you could try downgrading to a slightly older graphicscard driver and see if that helps and also check your settings in both Modo and in your driver.

my laptop has an ATI Radeon x1250 for a display adapter. It is running with the same driver it always has, which has worked for every other 3D application ever run on it, without any problem. I realized though that after installing Modo, that I had installed a version for Windows Vista Home premium edition, with Service pack 2, and a 64 bit operating system, when I was running on service pack 1. So seeing this, I thought that might be the problem. So I simply downloaded service pack 2, installed it. And then proceeded to repair Modo. However the problem with the modeling view port is still there. any advice? In the meantime, I think I'll delete it, and reinstall it completely.

Hi Gabe,

You might try updating your graphics card drivers. Some of those laptop graphics cards need to have the latest OpenGL support to work well with modo.

Yes thank you. Luxology said the same thing. In fact they said because of my partially integrated graphics card that it won't be able to work properly.
