Hey. I dont know what this issue is called to i had no clue what to Google or search for.

Hope its ok that i poste it here tho ^^ hehe

the scene contains 2 lights. a daylight system and a mr sky portal both shooting inn from the window.

the walls is all separat boxes but i have made sure that there is no space between them.

the render is done with Mentalray in 3ds max 2010. im running with FG on and with preset low and 5 diffuse bounces.

Hope there is an easy solution to this :)
best regards
Mats.

What I'd do first is disable Final Gather first and render. If you still have the issue than it's in your lighting setup and if not than the Final Gather is creating the problem.

It's hard to pinpoint exactly what the problem is but I'm guessing it's the FG radius or a reflection/trace depth issue.

thanks for the feedback. it was a combination of FG and the material on the tiles. i tweaked it and here is the final result. :) hope it looks good.
