This is an oil and photoshop combination. I was recently asked to do a limited edition print run of this image and had to rescan the painting at a high rez so that we could offer the image in a variety of sizes. It gave me the opportunity to tighten the image up in Photoshop as I pieced together the different scans. Fun Stuff!

This image appears in the upcoming Expose' book.

it reminds me of an old dos adventure games - you're very skillful making this CG! it awakes some strange feeling in my heart... thanks!

Mcgrath: Thanks for the comments man. Yeh I know David Ho's work...he's great. This predates the images your thinking of with the symbols.

Yeh of course I know Ben ...he just got a great gig at Rock Star...how do you know him?

Hey Philip--
Yeah, Ben and I went to the School of the Art Institute of Chicago at the same time. Had a few 3D animation classes together. Very talented dude, I must say. And mad dedicated too. Bastard's probably sittin on the beach in Cali right now as we speak, hehe.
Meanwhile, we're stuck in CT with this brutal humidity and crappy rain spells. the horror of it all.

Mcgrath: Yeh he is definetly dedicated.....very hard worker. He worked hard to get that job at Rock Star.

Ahhh yes the CT curse...well...I'm finishing up some projects and heading out to Cali in the winter!
