View Full Version : WorldBuilder and 3ds max Question

Greets!

I picked up the Digit mag which contains the full app of WorldBuilder 2.3. I installed the software and also selected to install the max 4 plug-in during set-up thinking it *should* work in 5.1.

Opened up max once the pooter rebooted and I get a "Cannot Load Plug-in blah, blah, blah..." error message which is the WorldBuilder PI during max start up. I hit okay and max opens as normal. I go to the Plug-In Manager and scroll down to see the WorldBuilder PI is there and displayed as "Loaded". Hmmm. For the life of me I can't figure out how to use the PI- yet- within max to check if it is in fact useable in 5.1. I've gone through the WB Help files but haven't come across anything. I went Digital Element's site but the support available seems to be only for the latest WB which is 3.5 or something.

Anyone got any suggestions or experiences w/ 2.3 they'd like to share?

see if it is available in video post as the way the two merge scenes is through the use a the z buffer
