I'm considering buying a Dell XPS 9000 system for maya/photoshop/gaming.

I'm going with a i920 / gtx260 1796mb combo.

How is Dell's pricing on RAM/drive space? Would I save significantly more if I just went with the bare minimum on memory and drive space and purchased upgrades for these from third party vendors?
