View Full Version : Ballzez - A simple animation test

Here is a little something I did sometime ago. Main purpose of the animation is to generate personalities and expressions ONLY through animation. I used simple spheres and cubes for models and basic key-frame animation.
Critiques and comments are welcome.

Thanks. Created with 3ds max 2009 and rendered with max's Ink n' Paint shader to give it a 2d cartooni look.

Really nice work. Where / how did you learn all the squash and stretch stuff? Really conveys character.
Also, how long did that scene take you from start to finish?

Thanks for the appreciation. I did study animation and I work as an animator at a cg studio. This project started as a very simple test of two spheres of different materials interacting and bouncing off of each other and later evolved into two different personalities messing with each other. it took almost 4 days for animation, and 2 weeks for sounds editing.
I like this, very interesting .
well done .
