View Full Version : What's the difference between mib_blackbody and mib_cie_d

What's the difference between these two? Both have the same attributes, which are for controlling light color with kelvin temperature, I guess. So conceptually what's the point having these two nodes?

As you said both are for controlling light color through temperature. The first difference is that the cie node only goes down to 4000K while the blackbody goes all the way down to 1000K. Also the cie node returns a more accurate color representation than the blackbody node.
