I upgraded my memory over the summer from 1 gb to 2.5 so that I could run Mudbox but it still goes slow. I had just reformatted my drive so I don't think it's my computer. Why is Mudbox running so slow and lagged? Whenever I make a line, the damn thing jumps around. Does anyone have any idea what it could be?

I'm using an Intel Quad Card. I didn't realize that Mudbox needs a Nvidia card. I figured it would work just like 3ds max :/

So I found a kit on Amazon, I don't know which card it is, it says GT 120? Which card would Mudbox work the best with?

Thanks Richard. I checked it out and it says that the best cards seem to be the Nvidia Genforce 9400 or 9600. I guess that answers my question, my notebook doesn't have the right hardware so I guess I'd have to upgrade to Macbook Pro.
