http://www.galileodesign.de/dateien/gp/dateilistenID-445?

Very impressive book (preview included in the link, simply click on the first wevlink on the page and you'll see a video preview of whats covered in the book) I know I talked a fair bit about rigging with chris, theres a lot of the same stuff covered in his leg rig as will be in mine regarding sliders and such (still not identical but similar) Do note the book is only in german but a very impressive resource I'd recommend to anyone.

Another soon to be released book on the same subject:

Also german only. You´ll know the author Sven Hauth as Pixeldoggy on this forum.

It isn't a problem with German publishers it seems to be a problem with US/UK publishers, who don't want to invest in bringing these books over. I would prefer the authors to come up with a translated version of their books into english and sell them online in pdf format. I know guys like Andrt(Did I spell his name right?) have an agreement with their US/UK publishers, so they can't translate and distribute their books in english.

Arndt is the name :D
Yeah it's a pitty with those publisher, but I think it's already enough said about them. Hopefully this situation will change soon.

This is the main reason that I didn't use Cinema when I first learn 3D. What few books we have on C4D are German books that were not translated.

But it doesn't matter for me now as I learn more and more about Maya. Maya was not my first choice, but now it's turning out to be the best choice.

Good for you but why bother us C4D users with such a comment ?

I have to admit I am lucky to be a German :)
The downside is if you want good books about
programing (C++) and other computer related
stuff then the best books are written in English.
Fortunately I am much better in English reading
than writing.

Well one product I'll never be able to offer is a book, hehe you've all seen my typing skills, no editor would have the patience.

@ Kaiskai:
Hehe ... dunno - just make a seperate booklet : Kaiskaiish for beginners / Kaiskaiish/English / Kaiskaiish for complete Dummies or something along those lines. Sell it seperatly - so if people want to learn from your book they´d need the booklet. $$$$ :)

hehe good idea, but imagine this my typos getting into the translation for example.

"put th ebone ito the mesh" = Put the boneinto the mesh

not much of a translation ;)
