This is an HDRI render I've been working on for a few days. This is a straight render out of Cinema 4D 8.2, and I used BodyPaint 2 for the textures. Hope you like it!

And here's a little wireframe:

Verynice work. That jar looks great, it makes me wonder what kind of shader or texture you used. The comp is good and the render looks great. My only critique would be the shadow under the coffee mug could stand to be a little darker. It looks like its kinda flotting. Other than that I think its a great piece.

Thanks! The jar has a color tint, transparency and refraction, and fresnel in both transparency and reflection. The lettering is a bitmap bump overlayed on a procedural bumpmap.

Now that you mention the shadow under the can (not supposed to be a coffee cup :)), I'm wondering whether it's because this is a one-sided object. I'll have to check and see if the GI light is penetrating the front-facing normals. Thanks for picking that up.

Great pic.
But what did you use for the depth of field? Is it a 3 layer pic where you gaussian blurred the BG and box blurred the easel? It looks not good at all (try to get Frischluft, the best depth of field plug in).

The table could need some displacement, I think you can see too strong that it's just a bump.

And why don't you have depth of field behind the glass?? I wonder when 3D Software can finally create a nice depth pass.

The glass looks really great. The BICKMORE can is my favorite.

Thanks Heaven871. I used Cinema's dof, but it really is too strong in this case, and the background was already blurred because it's a medium resolution HDRI. I guess I'll have to blur the transparency in post, since you noticed it. :)

I think you're right about the displacement, I'll give that a try. Shouldn't be too big a hit as the pedestal is already pretty high-poly.
