Here's a character i started to work on two days ago. Head is made of quad polys and texture is hand painted.
Hair is made with sasquatch fur and a few stray hairs are made with long hair mode + guides.
Now that the head is somewhat done i'll maybe start working on body...

real nice job! To me the the lips look a little squashed. Who did you use as reference?

I think the hair line is very convincing, but there is something about the eyes or around the eyes that bother me. I'm not sure what it is but it's something or maybe it's just me. it could be the lighting I think the bright spots are a little to bright for the amount of light in the scene.
