Inspired by Blade Runner, of course, and the fantastic Making Of documentary on the 5-disc set. I wanted to see if I could do something similar as the opening shot in the film.

Sorry about the image quality. Youtube and JPEG compression plays hell especially with the gradients.

Thanks for the comments.

Yes, I think I used too few instances of the non-descriptive buildings. Thought I'd varied them and hid them well enough into the smog. Guess not. :)

EDIT: Oops. That was meant as a reply to the comment on the matte painting section.
