Ive been using commotion to roto out various things. I then render the files into uncompressed .mov and .avi to be composited in After Effects. But I keep having an issue where the area where the splines occupy wont render leaving a pixel wide black line when layered into an AE comp. I have tried using the feather option (for rotosplines)in Commotion but it usually makes the line more noticable......Im sure theres an easy fix but Im not finding it...Any suggestions?

Better render into an 'Animation' type compressed QT (.mov). It's a lossless compression which will save you a lot of space.

Can you post a pic of what you are describing. It sounds like you are having a problem with pre-multiplication. Try setting the footage interpetation to premultiplied with black (if you have a black background that is).
