hello all,

i am making an aeon flux character and i am having troubles with the pouches that hang around her legs. I tried using a skelton bought found it would be difficult to animate and plus the origin of the chain wouldn't move with the geometry and posed a crashing problem when i enveloped it.

so, i thought id try softbody. I applied it to the pouches as a cluster.( the whole body is one object) The problem is, when the softbody operator is on the top of the stack, the whole object looses its weighting information, but when i move it to the bottom of the stack, the weighting info works again but the softbody doesn't. I am stumped.

if anyone has any suggestions for me i would really appreciate it.

heres a pic to show what i mean:http://www.vfs.com/~patmb/212help.jpg

the problem with that technique is that the null effects the deform points uniformly, but on somethoing so small it may not matter.
