View Full Version : Normal Map Test - Sea Creature
Jeffo 08-14-2003, 06:03 PM Hey guys, just made this quick normal map test character. He's weighing in at about 300 faces or so. Using a 512x512 world space normal map that was generated from a hi res model.
Diffuse texture to come soon ;)

Normal maps are so cool (what did you use BTW?).. Does the low polygon model have enough vertices to animate correctly though?

oXYnary - i used a beta version of mankua's kaldera plugin. And crytek's poly bump previewer.
It should have enough verts, depends how smooth you want it to look :)
