Hi,

Can someone please tell me how a intel core i7 compare to a intel xeon. For e.g.

1) Quad Core Xeon 2.66GHz or Intel Core i7 920 2.66GHz.

2) 2 X Dual Core 3.0GHz Xeon Processors or Intel Core i7 920 2.66GHz.


Also how GeForce GTX 285 2GB compares with a 512mb Quadro FX 4500.

I want to build a new computer that runs Maya and all it's features, Zbrush, RealFlow and Nuke and etc.

Well i'm a student and at the moment i'm doing a bit of everything in Maya. Also I use After Effects and Photoshop. Going to learn Zbrush, RealFlow and Nuke.
