View Full Version : 3DMax Setup: Rendering Environment

Hi there,

Sorry if this has been asked already, but I can't seem to find an answer.

I'd like to setup 3DMax so it automatically loads my own Rendering Environment and Advanced Lightning settings:

Background, Global Lightning, Light Tracer.

Whenever I start the application, it loads the default settings :shrug:

I tried saving the profile, but that didn't help.

create a scene with all the settings you want and save it as maxstart.max, then put that in your /scenes/ folder, and max should load it by default when you "reset" it and when it boots up.

Do a search for Startup Files in the help file...
