Blender 2.49b Fluid Simulator Video Tutorial (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wX5w1Kmsv_A)

Text of this video (http://blender3dvideos.blogspot.com/)

My goal is to demonstrate how the objects in Blender's fluid simulator - domain, fluid, inflow, outflow, and obstacle - interact. Included are avi clips that I generated from the simulator. I plan an add-on video tutorial that shows the power of the fluid simulator in more depth: things like gravity, hi-res, collisions, and realistic fluid textures such as water and oil.

I welcome all comments.

Thanks for this tutorial. Do you think is viable with this fluid engine to make sea simulation interacting with a ship?

You would need to do more than use the fluid simulator. You would need animation, animated textures, displacement maps, and realistic materials to do it right. It's complex. Fortunately, there is a great 4 part tutorial by Owen Lister that explains it all.
