Forgive me if this is in the wrong section, but this seemed like the best place to ask this. How would I go about burning WMVs (Or other file types) to be played on a home DVD player? I know I need some type of program, but I don't know what to look for (Open source is preferred)

Assuming that you're on Windows, check out DVD Flick (http://www.dvdflick.net/) that should allow you to create DVDs, and it should be able to convert your wmv into mpg ready for burning to a DVD writer (or an iso file that you can burn with ImgBurn (http://www.imgburn.com/)).
