Well, for your very first animation, it's got some promise. There seem to be some good poses in there.
obviously he's moving too slowly between his keys for a fast motion like a ball throw. In animation, faster is usually better than slower.
You'll also want to get his feet nailed down so they don't slide while he's standing on them.
Those are the things I'd attack first.

-the feet are still sliding
-when he tosses the ball a couple of times before he throws it... the ball is slowing down in mid air before it even lands in his hand. Impossible.
-When he throws the ball, it flys from his hand faster than his hand was throwing it.
serendipitously, the answer to most of this is editing your "curves" These are the interpolations between your keyframes shown in graphic form. However learning to edit curves on this animation will be quite complex
I suggest starting with good ol' "bouncing ball" as an intor to curve editing. Check your manual for more ispecifics on that.
