View Full Version : Superhero
A character i started modeling without knowing where it was going to lead me, finally it's a sort of superhero.
I just rigged him and am doing some tests now.
Done in Lightwave, rigged with Acs4.
Comments and critics are welcome.

looks great man what kind of super powers does he have
would be cool to see more blend shapes
Thanks for the comments. :)
You're right about the pointy crotch, i hadn't noticed that. And the head, yes maybe it is slighly too big. I also have problems with the eyes, they render funnily and i haven't rigged them yet. I just hate rigging...
I'll try to fix those things and update this thread next week.
heh the last pose made me laugh, which says alot if you knew me.
Update : i scaled down the head a little and made the crotch less pointy. I'm doing the endomorphs now.

really nice character. I think the only thing that could use a little touch up is the size of this feet. compared to the size of his hands and head, the feet look too small. heres a quick tweak to your image to show you what I mean, I hope you dont mind.:) Nice work!

lol
'love that superhero guy..
hey.. maybe you should give him a companion??
either a girl hero, or a littleguy, sidekick?
about a bad guy?
or, even a backpack jet type of engine?
you know..
seems like this guy has tremendous potential as something more than just a model!!
i like it a lot..
Hum.. could this be an open " workshop"???
Come up wit a universe with this character?
could be nice if people came up with models done in different softwares ..
what does everybody think???

Hehehehe, that is one of the coolest characters I have seen. I love his facial expression during the split. But it could be a bit more dramatic, you know for the full effect. lol. Great job!
Thanks a lot for your comments and critics guys, they're really appreciated ! :)
Tubby, i agree with you so i scaled down the head anf hands instead.
Campy, it's a nice idea but too ambitious to handle for me, i'd rather try something on my own, of course feel free to create any wacky superhero you think of ! :)

Funny boy isn't he.
I like him a lot. Just I would go make his hands and feet bigger and take a time for fix pelvis part, in some poses it looks strange there.
I hope you'll not hate me that I've used your image for explain.
But really nice guy with nice poses.:applause: :applause:
