I posted this on the NewTek Forums and
thought maybe i could get some good info here too....

this is a character for a little animation
i'm working on and i'm having some serious problems with her joints and the deformation thereof.

here's a look at the figure with the problem:
http://www.blackeden.org/help.html

and here's a look without the nasty elbow mess:
http://www.blackeden.org/shroom.htm

unfortunately she won't be keeping
her arms straight throughout the animation.:D
HELP?

Does anyone know of some excellent
deformation/animation FK/IK tuts?

Thanks in advance! :p

Could you show us screen shots of the way you have it rigged and the way you have the weight maps set up. I think that will help a lot. But I like the stuff you have on your site, really great style.

No problem.
i'm @ work now so i'll have to toss
up the screen shots either late tonight
or tomorrow morning.

Some guys @ the NewTek site directed me to
http://www.evil-plan.com

HOLY HANA!
I've reboned my Shroom and she seems
to be functioning quite a bit better...

I uploaded the Modeler Skelegon shots.

I'm pretty confident that Mr.Evil's tuts are
gonna help quite a bit, though being new to the
LightWave interface I'm game for any advice
one could throw at me (related to Animation,
I already know that I smell bad and need to comb my hair :))

cheers!
