How can I align a vertex or a group of vertices together with precision? Just like with objects when they are aligned together.

It seems 3D max doesn’t allow to align the position of a certain vertex with another one in an object. For example, let’s suppose that I want vertex A to be aligned at the same exact ‘y’ position as vertex B in another part of the object, how can I do that?

I try to avoid doing it manually as much as possible for the sake of accuracy.

There are scripts that can do that, but I normally just move them with Snap set to Vertex. Just make sure that you constrain the translation to the correct axis using the Transform Gizmo.

If both of the vertices are on a horizontal surface, you just need to select your vertex A and align it to ur object, and choose "Y position" & the "target object" choose "maximum".

I do it Piflik's way... quick and simple.
