hello,
i am searching for a method to bake color and lighting information to an image sequence -- essentially, executing the batch bake (mental ray) command but on a range of frames.
the resulting sequence would then be used to drive root/tip color for a hair system.
another member started a similar thread some time ago but no solution was offered and the thread is now dead: http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?f=89&t=247242&highlight=bake+sequence
i have tried the km_bakeAnimatedTexture 1.0 script on highend3d but this does not work with lighting information: http://www.creativecrash.com/maya/downloads/scripts-plugins/rendering/misc/c/km_bakeanimatedtexture--2
any help is greatly appreciated.
thanks
