i am having a real hard time getting animated gifs to play faster then 12 fps.
the headbaning emoticon on this forum (buttrock.gif) plays at approximatly 17fps :buttrock: test it yourself and youll see
when i import this emoticon into Flash (my default fps is set to 24) so it obviously sets the drawings on two's...... when i set my defualt fps on FLashMx to 17fps and import the gif it puts it on ones....
ok, then!..i save the gif again......now thats when buttrock.gif turns to butt Munch!!!! ..
this newly re saved gif will NOT play at 17fps in Explorer (like the origanl)...or anywhere else on my computer! :surprised
it also looses transperancy even though i have tried exporting with and without transperancy checked.
i have tried using Adobe imageReady as well..
i have tried saving PNGs with transperacny and adaptive paletes and 16 colors.. dithering. no dithering,,. interlace, no interlace.. nothing!
anyone got some expert/advanced expierence?
