i finally finished the guys color mapp i had it done before but when i made the texture it was only 72 dpi so i couldnt get good close ups so i redid the texture, i still have to do the spec mapp whitch should bring him more to life any crits are welcome , thankshttp://www.threedy.com/attachment.php?s=&postid=95180 http://www.threedy.com/attachment.php?s=&postid=95181

Looks great,

Somehow people overlook this thread, i didn't notice it at first.
You might want to change your title to character: Undead Beast or
creature: Undead Beast, you might get more responce.

As for the texture, i think it looks awesome, this is some really good stuff. The only thing that doesn't work with the model IMO are the purple patches on his leg and on other places on his body. I don't know if they are bump or another skin layer, but they have to much corners, have you tried rounding them a little?

One thing that could be cool is to brighten the vains on his arm, like something hot or radioactive is flowing through them.

And my last comment are the skulls around his neck, aren't they a little small, if those are human skulls, he would be 4 times as big as a human, i don't know if he is supposed to be that tall.
Another thing you could add is some rope between the skulls and the bones, they don't look connected at the moment.

Well thats it, you have a great model there, keep working on it!

I like it! I like the torn look of his skin and the over all color scheme. What was your technique for the torn look? I also like the character design. Was this an original design? What software did you use?

sweet I really like the mouth and the torn skin look is great too
to you plan to texture his necklace and other pieces of armor that would make it look really cool

thanks guys (davidSingha) i am glad u like it i was worried about the colours first i tryed green, flesh tone ,brown bout it didnt look right so this color i was most happy with, i used softimage xsi , the torn lokk is bump map not modeled then i used a slight displacment map for viens and rips, thanks for replying :) ;)

(dizog) i am textureing all of the armour and animating him:wavey:
