I've had the same problem here so I'll say something. I like the exagerated features. I think one of the reasons you aren't getting any noise is that it doesn't really look finished. The modeling is off to a good start but people in the finished work gallery want to see something that looks finished. He doesn't appear to have any textures and is missing his eyes. It has TONS of potential though! Keep up the good work. -- 3d_e

Few crits:
Your character's waist is too low...right now it looks awkward so try to raise it a little. Also your character's bone structure in the face is a little too overexaggerated I think. Since it is supposed to be a cross between you and the Hulk (I'm assuming) I can understand why you did it but I think that it would look better if you made it a little less noticeable since his head is the only part that's really "boney" right now.
I like your hair and the big hands/feet...they match your character really well. Keep at it!

thanx for the comments. i made the waist really low intentially. i agree tho, it might be too low. after i get him UVed...im going to rig him and put him in pose...he is suppose to REALLy bend over when he walks...almost gorilla like, and that is kinda what i was going after...gorrillas have short legs. I will tweak it some 2night and see if i can raise it up a little more....i totally agree tho. thanx a lot.
the drawing is very funny!
hope to see the final 3D vision !
i really like the cartoon super deformed style , i hope to see an animated version maybe :)

I know you're going for an exaggerated look, but the anatomy is far outside a believable level. If you look at other musclebound characters, they have all the muscles but they are just EXTREMELY overdeveloped. The way your forearms and shins are modeled resemble the old Popeye the sailor, which is fine, but looking at this character from the front it looks as if the muscles have developed only outward. Others have already mentioned the issue with the hips, and his 8-pack abs. I'd work on that first, then get the anatomy going. Have fun.

The deformed style does look pretty good, and I'll take your word on the short-legs-becuase-of-the-hunching-over thing, but the smaller toes should be made more distinct.

BTW...blackSTATIK and the3DBEAST, those are both me...hehe, sorry if that was a little confusing. I didnt realize i was logged in as the3DBEAST..:D
Im at work and i didnt notice that i was signed on under that name...hehe, sorry about that. i work at a bank and im constantly switching back and forth from the banks database and windows...hehe
As far as the drawing, i must give props to a friend of mine, ZeRODoTOnE...i sent him some pix of me and he came up with that drawing...haha, he has a great style!
I was thinking, if I do away with 2 of the abs....adjusting it to a 6 pack instead of a 8 pack :) and move the hips up, it might look a lot better  what does everyone think? It would probably make a lot more sense visually as well! again, keep the comments coming! this is great, i really appreicate all the help!

I dig it... a very almost grown-upish cartoon feel to it.
The concept sketches remind me of the bad guy from Jim Carrey's 'The Mask'.
Cool!

very cool i would make it look cartoony because it is cartoon style, nice though:wavey: and dont worry i never get any replies so dont feel bad, but seems like u have lots now:p
i like it a lot but i agree it looks unfinished, you should give him eyes (or at least spheres), right now it looks it has been "sculpted" a zbrush way, what software do you use ?
Great style anyway ! :applause:
and you should add nails on the fingers, like the toe, details like this give more "realism" (even if you don't go for the realism side).

Finally, they moved it!...haha, i accidently posted it in finshed work gallery, I didnt mean to do that and I apologize.
I have been working on his eyes a bit. Im not sure how I want to do the eyelids. I have never really done eye lids so, I dont know if I should pull the eye lids out of the facial geometry, or just do them seperatly.
Thanx a lot for the comments LIMBAUL_ABIGGOR & -JT- . It is DEF unfinised...i have a long way to go. The model is basically finished, but as you all probably know, the after the model, there is MUCH more to come...hehe.
-JT- I use Maya 5. This is my first huminoid character, so, it was a challenge. I guess, in all i spent maybe 10 hours on it. I just work on it a little each day. Maybe 30 mins here, 10 min there, stuff like that. I cant wait till i actually have time to really work on it. He is VERY symmetrical right now since i model with CPS, but, I am going to add some little diffrence, just to change it up a little.
Again, thanx a lot for the comments. I will try my BEST to get some post up of the model since i have changed it tonight. :D

-JT-, i totally aggree with you on the fingernails. the hands are my LEAST favorite thing about the model. That was my first time doing hands, and i REALLY hate them. I want to redo them....actually, I will work on that tonight some.
It was also suggested that I add toe nails as well. What does everyone else think about this?
You wont see his feet...TOOO much, but, if everyone thinks that it will really help the model, i will DEF add them. Thanx alot! this is a BIG help!
