This is still in the early stage, I'm new to painting in photoshop (well, ok, pretty much new to painting at all). I usually only do pencil drawings. I don't have a waccom tablet, this is all with a mouse. I don't want this to be that realistic (just try to imagine what this guy's skull would look like ;) ) going for more stylized than anything. For the final image, I want him to have his hand up by his mouth with his pointing finger pressed up against his top lip, like he's listening to something and thinking about it. Kind of like a king in his court type thing.

I also have the original guide lines I drew, done with a 1 pixel pencil tool in PS7, then blurred.

I plan on having him leaning back now though, as if he's sitting on a throne. Any help through C&C would be greatly appreciated :)
