hey, looking sweet!!!

i'd love to see something more exciting and happening in the white wall tho other than those high level windows.

also, contrast lighting is too great between the pavement and the dark plinth the white wall is sitting on.

1 more thing (so far), the brick work seems different between the lower level and upper levels of those 2 towers in the front (separated by those 3 bands).

obviously more lighting work to do but comming on superb so far m8:bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

ok here goes noting
lights not yet final
so that clears contrast up
also windows tuff titty
:)
there might be a more adventerous version coming soon
until then wait
now the bricks well spotted now if u want to complain to the actual builders and tell them to fix that cause actually there are about 30 different types of bricks used all over the building
bit of a bodge job by our council

but watch for more of this pic

:)
hi btw

Looking good, I think some more breakup here and there can help a bit. Just a small bevel will work on the bricks, but the plaster needs a bit more uneven edge. The plaster material seems a bit procedural, so maybe some image maps could help here and there. Maybe some stains at the base, and under the windows. Same with the metal at the entrance.

Let's see an update :)

looks excelent, hat the sky. Two much cloud and such really hits the eye compared to the subtleness of the rest of the render. Don't care if its a photo or whatever, get a better on then. Just fix them please doesn't fit with the rest in my opinion.

fic the sky and plaster (I am totally with farley on this one) you'll have my thumbs up.

Excellent work though very nice rendering.

Very nice

The sky is way to specular thats the problem :) .....try the sky shader plugin from Plugin cafe.

I think it may be that using it yto illuminate the scene he has boosted the muinance channel way up, wrong idea, just put it on at like ten percent or less, and got to the illumination settings, and set the illumination up, that way it isn't bright but it cast light well

Looking good so far. It is a bit too sharp and regular at the moment. So a bit of dirt and randomness would work great. As for the sharpness, some creative blurring should do the trick.

Very good.

thats a good point actually, a slight blur shoulf\d do the trick, but inthe future you should make sure all scquare edges have a slight bevel to them.

hey guys thanks for the comments
pleased u like it so far
appart from the little tweaks
being how it is a wip the changes you have all mentioned are being looked at
and beveling is going to be done once the entire structure is in place
like the idea of blur but i shall stick with the beveled edges
also alot more stains and muck on way

stay tunned
this was just the first nights work on this scene many more to come
