View Full Version : Wrap Deformers and Double Transformations

Hey guys,

I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to avoid getting double transformations on geometry I have attached (using a wrap deformer) to a character I am animating when I try to scale that character.

I created the geometry, positioned it on the character's arm, selected it, then shift selected the arm geometry (which was already skinned) and created a wrap deformer. It works great and moves with the arm in both IK and FK, but when I grab the main character ctrl, and scale it, the geometry inherits double transformations.

Any fixes?

Turn off "inherits transforms" on the geometry that is beeing driven by the wrap deformer

You can find the checkbox in the attribute editor, on the transform node
