Hi everybody,

I am maya beginner, and I am looking for another way to set DOF in maya than by atribute editor of camera - DOF.
Itīs without preview, is possible to get opegl or small preview(not IPR) like in 3ds max or lightwave x-dof?

And in hypershade, is possible to preview(view) set of refraction?

thanx!

To preview DOF...as far as i know ..NO in Maya..but there are some very easy tricks that u can do to know very well where your depth of field is and where the focus ends!!

Let me know if u want me to post a simple setup that i am using very often!!!

..a hint !!!

u need 1. a camera
2. A distance tool (for focus distsnce from camera)
3. a nurb circle ( for definition of where focus ends)
