Hello, everyone.

Well, I was recently recruited to do some building models for a freeware game called Unreal Fantasy. As of now I don't have much knowledge of the story (and even if I did I probably wouldn't be able to say anything about it), but I do know that it will be mixing the worlds of popular Japanese console RPGs and using the Unreal Tournament 2003 engine.

Well, anyway, I was told to make a junk house... you know, something a hobo would live in in the middle of a field somewhere... Well, I made this "hobo house" and I was wondering what you guys thought I should add (other than textures, since I'm not texturing). Those little spiky looking things are grass blades, but I'm not worried about the detail of those at the moment. That mat is his sleep mat, there's a crate and a tire, and the roof is more of a cloth, or tarp... I'm not sure right now.

So, what should I add?

(the picture attached is of poor quality because I can't put any nice quality images on here...)

pretty nice but it seems as if the stuff is too perfect, i know that they wouldn't be able to get peices that were that similar together for a hut, so perhaps add alot of vairiations... great start, kneet idea.

I hope those lines on the walls and ceiling aren't polygon divisions. That would be a humongous waste. You should definitely think about what materials everything is going to be, so you know how to shape it. The roof if it's cloth or something soft should bend down in the middle. And, by the way, what's holding the walls up? Kinda looks like it's just a card-house now, just leaning up against each other. That would fall if he sneezed. When you walk in the entrance you walk over his bed to get to the open spaces on the sides. Bad design IMHO. Put the bed along the back wall. And you won't even need any polys for that mat if it's going to be flat like that. Just paint it on to the floor. Or give it some height and detail. Also, what angle will you be seeing this from in the game? if up close, post a pic of up close so we can see it like that. Can't even see the tire you speak of.

I heard about this mod...sounds like a cool idea. I hope you guys get far with it. How many other people are working on it, or do you know?

Well, I've been told not to show anything else... although it's come a long way thanx to you all. It doesn't look like a card house anymore and it looks much more realistic.

To answer your question, Jboy, I'm really not sure how many are working on it right now...

I hope you guys will get to see it in the game somwhere. Once the game's released, I'll post some pics if I can.
