Hi Folks,
Here is a free toon character for Maya 5. It uses a rig created by AdvancedSkeleton (http://www.animationstudios.com.au).
The character name is 'Character B' - I know, really original , but he's part of a short I'm working on. He's not overly complex or unique but he does the job, I think. I include a video on how to use the rig and include all the source files you need to use the character. Also included are some blendshapes for facial expressions.
If you have any problems getting the selector to work, please drop me an email and we'll see if we can figure it out. I think the best solution if you are having problems is to install the demo version of AdvancedSkeleton (no I don't get paid for every copy they sell - I just like the tool and the cost).
Anyway, here are the links:
Character 'B' source files (2mb) (http://www.lostpencil.com/images/character_B.zip)
Video showing how to use the rig (20mb) (http://www.lostpencil.com/images/character_b_video.zip)
