Hi Pros...

I have multiple objects and want to customize it.
I thought I'll do it with the Macro Recorder .... :applause:
Copy me a source object recording Mesh / Vertex changes to the macrorecorder,
copy this command into the MaxListener and Evaluate it to the selected object.
But the positions of my vertex are totall wrong, he also does not applay the softselection

I use
relative selection
relative transforms operations
explecit sub-set objeect

Does anyone know a good site where the problem is well explained?
THANKS

Do you have an identical source and target objects? Do they have exactly same geometry and topology? Do they have the same class? Are you sure that all steps of editing were recorded? (you can post your macro record and I can say is it complete or not)

By the way, there are at least two another solutions:

#1. Make the target object as an instance of the source object.

#2. Make any deformation or editing of the source object using some edit modifier(s) (Edit_Poly, Edit_Mesh, etc.). And copy this modifier (or stack of modifiers) to the target object.

Morning denisT,
First a THX of ur reply !
I get the problem now....
I trayed to recording the changes of vertex on the base geometry....
If i applay first an Edit Poly on my EditPoly Geometrie -> it works :applause: perfect.
I will still make a test with the copy of the modifier, that idea was cool.
But first the Macro Recorder works great
Iīve different heads with various gestures, so I canīt drag an instance from my Basic Obejekt.
You inspiration was helpful....
THX & have a good Weekend!
