Pdplayer now supports also R3D file formats and uses the latest version of the RED SDK (2.3) with the new color science.
The new version is now released with the following new features:

- support for RED R3D files
- support for a secondary monitor as an external output device (allows users to display just the content of the safe area and mask to a secondary monitor)
- ability to control the alpha (key) output of Decklink cards

Pdplayer is available for immediate download.

You can download the trial version on http://www.pdplayer.com/downloads.html

I tried the demo and I think Pdplayer really rocks! The best ram player I know. I am just waiting to buy it cause for 400$ I can also get a 28 inches monitor at Newegg... So I can't decide!

This player looks very good. Will the Linux version have a trail available as well?

Actually at this moment I cannot answer if the Linux version will have trial. For now, our priorities are to produce the full version of Pdplayer for Linux, and then we will decide whether there will be trail :)
