Hello,
I am new to all of this, so don't beat me up too bad.
I am trying to accomplish something with Blender as it is the program required. Does anyone out there happen to know what the default unit of measure is in Blender and/or how one would change whatever it is to what is needed, such as 'feet'?
Thanks in advance.

Hi ThrushDriver,

Blender hasn't a default unit of measure as whould be expected!!
It has in fact a unit mesure but of it's own. You can take 1 unit (aka 1 grid square)
and change to your own unit of measure.
Imagine 1 grid square in blender = 1 centimiter in real world
now you must do all calculation with that in mind!

That's it, kind a strange in the beginig but much more powerfull and pratical system then the
the usual on other 3D packages

Just now the standard for physics and some renderers is: 1 blender unit = 1 meter

In next release 2.5 there will be units configuration thing.
