View Full Version : Bad AA in viewport
I am trying out uv mapping for the first time. I have applyed the standard checker shader to the model. But it shows up very blury in the viewport and the uv editor.
Is this a driver issue ore is there something I am just missing?

I had exactly the same problem, I couldn't find what causing it but I did find a workaround: make a checker texture in Photoshop and use that for your UV testing...somehow the file texture doesn't blur as much as the procudural checker.
have you tried to increase the texture quality in the AE of the shader under HardwareTexturing? I got a clear sharp checker-tex.

Thanks for the reply´s.
I set the HardwareTexturing to highest and that fixses the AA problem. But now I get som strange transparency showing up on some faces. It goes away when I turn the view on the model.

I also get transparancy if there is an alpha in the texture file.
But apparently it's precisely on several faces. Try to check if those faces have the shader assigned, or if they look normal in the UVeditor.
