This image has been done in 3ds max 5 and Cinema 4d for lighting texturing and rendering.
The intention was to create the style of an black/white photo taken somewhere in an old garare in which you still may find some hidden treasures.
I see such style only very rare here in the gallery and so I came with it. Hope you like it.

Excellent style and image.
Wish I'd find a 'treasure' like that in my garage :)

yeah, thanks a lot guys. It started as a small lighting study but I added more and more details to it and finally it became a whole scene.

Great work . Cant find anything wrong here. Question I have 3ds max 5 and cinema 4d also How did you bring one softwares file into the other?

well, the transport basically is done via the 3ds format. But to save you a lot of time you might want to assign all the material in max already. thats means that you should texture your scene while creating it in max. because when you export the file you should enable "preserve max´texture coordinates".
Then when you open your scene in Cinema 4d it is allready textured and every texture fits perfectly and is in the right position, tiling, etc. But, that does only happen when Cinema recognizes the bitmap path. If not go to your material editor in C4D and add the bitmap path. then the texture will appear correctly in your viewport. It is a good idea to give all your materials in max proper names, that will make it a lot easier for you finishing the texturing process in C4D.
hope I could help you.
regards.

It look's cool but could I see some pic's from different camera angle's? The one it's at seems as though it would be difficult for a person to hold a camera in that position at that spot.

@sceme: yeah, I agree with you, it came out a little too sharp, maybe I will correct that later on.

@kariefury: What is wrong with the perspective? I chose this persp. because it seemed quite dramatic to me. and it was very difficult to adjust the lighting and the positions of all the objects to get this result. The only thing I am not very satisfied is the weak quality of Cinema 4D's DOF system. But thanks anyway .

I have no complaints, this is a fantastic piece. Although, already mentioned, from your angle the DOF hurts the piece alittle bit. And i like the dramatic feel you have as well as giving it a sense of mystery. Congrats, looking forward to more of your work!
