Hi guys,
I'm working on a scene that has tons of concrete so I'm trying to get the materials to be set really nice. I wonder if someone could give me suggestions of settings for mental ray architectural material (I'm using Maya, mia_material_x)? I tried to set up 2 types of concrete:
First was polished, shiny - as the one seen on this photo:

Second one was not shiny at all, almost powdery look, kind of like these ones:

If someone could point out the surfaces features and how to mimic it with mia_material I'd be VERY grateful. What I managed to get was just OK but didn't look quite the same.
I'm pretty confident with textures, it's just material settings.
Thanks A LOT in advance!
Karol
