View Full Version : Mental Ray Interior Rendring tips?

Hello CGTALK it's me again... the noob... lol anyways I have some questions about making this image look better, more real per/say.

Some dets...
this is a little test render I did with mental ray, I just wanted to know how to have a good indoor light setup. Let me explain to you my setup and then you can shed some light on it and help me a bit.

Ok, so I have a room here, just a box with the default wall paint material. I have 6 photometric light as downlights in intrusions from the ceiling. The lights are cool white florecent with 247.61 candela, so they represent around 60 watts of light. I gave default FG with 5 bounces and GI with optomize with FG on. It also has a gamma 2.2 lens camera shader with logaritmic exposure control. (sorry for the spelling mistakes it's really late.)

This is what I have. Any help making it look more real?
