I am rigging a cartoon squid character for a short I am doing with a few other people. So far the rig works perfectly. The only problem is when I parent everything to the main mover. I get some double translation errors and I don't know how to fix it.

Here is how the rig is supposed to look

Here is what happens when I move the main mover

Double-check that you have turned off "Inherits Transform" in the Attribute Editor for all of the NURBS curves in your splineIKs. I'd start there.

Thanks! That worked for the long tentacles. It rotated the curves, but I can just set them back in place. The 2 up at the top however, I see that it's the IK handle itself that's doing the double translation, not the curve. The thing is, If I turn off the inherent transform for the IK handle, it messes up my controls. It turns out spline IK's are unnecessary there anyways, so I got it fixed. thanks!
