changing coordinates for edit points on curves?

well you can always pick the component and type

move -absolute 5 5 5;

on the command line, for example.

Also, if you pick a particular edit point, you should be able to edit the position in the channel box.

move 0 1 0 curve1.ep[1];

Mark when I select an edit point, the channel box just shows the name CurveShape1 and the fields for xyz are not present. even if I click the name, nothing appears. So I don't see how I can do what you said. This only seems to work with CV's on a curve, but not edit points (wierd).

Sorry, yes, you're right, the channel box approach only works for CVs and not edit points.
