Is there a way to make a traditional softbody but with nParticles? I know there's nCloth but I'm curious if there is another way...or if that's what the nCloth objects are just that the particles are not visible. If so is there a way to access the nParticles?

The nParticle has all the same attributes, so you can simply replace a particle with an nParticle if you remake all th connections. I don't think the soft command has an option to use nParticles, so you'd have to do this yourself.

It works perfectly once you've generated the particles and remade just two connections.

nParticleShape.targetGeometry to mesh.inMesh and
mesh.worldMatrix[0] to nParticleShape.targetGeometryWorldMatrix
