MrRahulNath 10-08-2009, 08:48 PM I am learning animation these days and i thought i would try to recreate a short scene of IceAge3 buck animation so that i will be able to learn a lot of things by observing the works of a great animators. I have uploaded the blocking file of the first shot, please give your crits and comments so that i can learn more with your help

You need to increase the framerate, it's too laggy to really see the animation.

JH_: It's just blocking, so it's better to leave it choppy.
Watch the arc on the empty hand during "I can't talk right now." it's too angular. Either eliminate one of the key poses or find a away to get his hand to both poses smoothly. Right now it goes down->overshoot-> left-> ease in. Too many directions, too distracting for a simple phrase.
