View Full Version : 3d Children's Game Graphics
busha 08-12-2003, 05:02 PM Hi all. I'm posting a few of the mattes that I created for a game that was never sold called "Going Ape". It's a pretty simple premise in that the goal is to catch as many bananas as possible while avoiding deadly traps like falling coconuts and snapping piranha. I created the mattes using Lightwave to create the 3d elements and Photoshop to composite them together with hand-painted sections. I hope you like them!

im not really surprised why is didnt sell. sorry but the concept seems more suitable for a free flash game instead of something you would actually buy in the store. never the less the graphics are very good

Thanks for the compliments and feedback guys. The reason that the game never sold was because the original plan was to sell a bundle of simple games like "Going Ape" as a package, all for about $10-$20, downloadable/purchasable from the internet. Unfortunately other projects took priority and the other games in the package were never completed. Oh well, such is life.
