This one sounds like fun and I think time might actually permit. My skills are not the level of most here but what the hey...

Here is the idea:

The characters name is Moxly. He was born in the early 1800's in a small village in England. He has a rare bone deformity never seen in these parts. The vertebra of the spine have grown rather sharp spikes that protrude the skin on his back like that of a dragon. The cartilage in the nose grew very flat and spread staying close to his protruding jaw bones. Giving him almost a dragon type snout. His brow is large and protruded much like that of the cave man and giving his eyes a cat like shape. What is stranger is the flap of skin that connects his chest to his upper arms stopping just before the elbow. While doctors in london could help with some of these evolutionary mishaps the operations would be costly for a family of such modest means. Instead Moxly would join the circus sideshow. Here he would find friends who would not see his deformities. Here he could make money to send to his family by charging those who fear and don't understand his disfigurement. But best of all he would see the world.

"Ladies and gentle man. Step inside the tent for just one shilling and see the Dragon Man...Don't get to close son he might breath fire on you."

Well that's the idea for the moment.

Thanx for the welcome Zr0-1.

Here is the first concept sketch. I'd like to really try and stay close to being possible but I may need to exaggerate to make it interesting. I think there are 23 vertebra in the back so I will need to figure a better way to do the back spines. The nose may be to long too. Doesn't seem possible in reality but to short and he becomes dog man :) .

Crit or your thoughts are always welcome.
