Very interesting, especially as I've been dealing with some gamma issues in Vue lately (not to mention I finally just re-calibrated my Mac's display from 1.8 to 2.2 after tiring of my PC friends saying that my images look "off").

Forgive me for my ignorance (I'm a Vue/CG newbie still), but how to you configure gamma settings in Vue (materials, overall image, etc.)? I know you can compensate for gamma with the dialog that appears after a render, but is there any way to set this in preferences? I would look but I'm running a long render at the moment. Is it correct that Vue's default gamma output is automatically set to the system's? Can't recall where I read that last bit btw.

Gamma always has to make things complicated :banghead:

Yeah I just adjust the final gamma from the vue output dialog, but you can also save the file and do that in comp. For the materials its less convenient - I put gamma nodes on the end of all my material chains :sigh:
