View Full Version : Subdivisions vs texture projection...

Hey guys, I'm having some issues when projecting textures to a subdivided and sculpted mesh in Mudbox. The UVs are all fine but in some places I get really weird stretching when projecting to the mesh. Even if I'm just projecting straight on to a flat surface. I don't have any pictures of it but the geometry of the mesh also looks pretty ok so I don't really see why it should behave in that way.

Have any of you experienced this? And is there a way to solve it? I can always fix the stretching in Photoshop later but that kind of ruins the whole idea of being able to "paint" a mesh in 3D.
